Safari Diary
ECP-
May 2004
Group A (2 May) got off to a flying start with Kenya Airways,
despite the bank holiday weather throwing a spanner in the
works.
A tropical down pour, followed by welcome cocktails at the
Stanley, had everyone ready for a drive along Kenya’s
notorious roads to the home of wildlife – the Mara.
Not wanting to disappoint, the Mara lived up to its reputation
and the Group saw lions, buffalos, zebras, giraffe, cheetahs
and elephants to name a few. The thrilling game drives, bush
walks, balloon safaris followed by champagne style breakfasts
and spectacular sundowners, made a magical safari to be remembered
for a long time!
Meanwhile, group (A2) who are relaxing at the beach have
been busy doing….well nothing really! No doubt they
are been filled in with details of the delights of the safari
to come and are looking forward to the costal excursions,
particularly the Tamarind Dhow – a sell out as always!
Will the magic of Kenya continue…tune in next week
