The Mara – A New Dawn

A new dawn over the Mara signals the start of a cycle. Yet another group of ECP customers arrive in anticipation.

Will we witness a lion chase or a cheetah kill like Group “C” or indeed the big five and the rare Rhino like Group “B”? Group “A” had no feedback from proceeding groups and were first to look on the Mara in awe. But wait…., the stage of the Mara has a final surprise for this ECP pilgrimage.

The annual migration has started and the first herds of some 3 million wildebeest have crossed the Serengeti plains to welcome the arrival of ECP customers. The straddling columns of Wildebeest create the greatest Wildlife spectacle on Earth. “But who controls these animals”, they all ask – “nature” is the reply from safari guides!

The balloon safaris provide spectacular views from above, whilst the guests on the bush walk have the company of the herds. Drinks over a sundowner and bonfire, mark the end of a perfect safari. The grand finale of arrival of the wildebeest is perhaps natures way of thanking ECP for visiting the majestic Mara.

A mesmerizing Masai welcome on arrival in Mombasa stirs emotions. Balmy nights under swaying palms and warm Indian Ocean waters provide an exhilirating experience. These are perfect final memories of this group holiday of a lifetime. The 5 most apt words to describe this holiday –
